Very professional, except from the "story"/script for this video.
Lightning is very good even if it´s not correct. I wouldn´t change it because if you correct it, it won´t look better. I mean the light is obvisiously comming from the big sun/star. But the digital ingame light source seems to be somewhere else. Well, you could simply correct that. But as I said I wouldn´t do it, because if the fighter is in front of the star, it IS black, doesn´t matter if it gets lit by the sun. because the sun is brighter as the reflection. And the screen can´t be that bright to do that effect naturally. I know I know if the sun would be in the front and the ship between the star and me, the ship would be black by correct lightning.
Anyways, very good work on scripting and design! Now add a good AI, some more different ships and motherships, add a story, and you got a very good game :] Of course don´t forget the suddenly everything changes missions!

Great work is quite appropriate here, the spaceships looks great, the background looks great, the steering of the spaceship is great too,... I think you get the point Cheers Frazzle

die steuerung ist eigentlich nicht so das beindruckendste, es ist eher das know-how, da die meisten leute glauben sie müssen das schiff mit .pan, .roll, .tilt drehen, was aber (wie in Star Assault zu sehen ist) nicht richtig funktioniert. Richtig ist, in diesem falle die vec_* befehle zu nutzen(vec_rotate, für trägheit vec_accelerate, etc...).
Dennoch, das mit der kameraträgheit ist schon sehr interessant und würde mich interessieren wie ihr das realisiert habt.
