Well im sure you can release your casual game for xbox360 for free. Not sure about it. I will release a Angelas World 1 Version for XBox Arcade. But since this game is for free, im not really sure if you have to pay for license when you publish a paid arcade game. You propably just have to give microsoft some dolla from the money you get for your games.

I try to follow your idea but if I do that then I come to the conclusion that it will not happen.

If a project really has big funding, money and a team then the investor wants to spend the money wisely. He/she will probably buy technology that already exists on WII instead of pouring it to Conitec with no experience on consoles at the moment.

If Conitec does not do the first step then this will not happen.
But maybe Atari has something planned for the future of 3DGS?

Kind of.
You can give away your game (source and all) to other XBox360 hobby developers. They can compile and run your game on their 360 if they pay their developers fee.

So, yester i tried out the XBox Live Aracde with XNA. I wanted to upload my game and play it on my xbox.

You have to subscribe if you want to upload your XNA Games. 4 Month for 50 dolla or one year for 99 dolla.

wii's supposed to be faster than xbox, which is faster than gamecube.

i hope i get your meaning you might mean with networking or internet or something, in which case i'd have no idea!

I'm interested in hearing how this works Kiyaku. If people want to play and download it, though, they have to be members of the xbox 'creator's club' too, right? and pay the same $99?

Then they can download your source code and compile and run the game themselves-- is that how it works?

im not too sure about this, but if you upload it with the XNA Creators Club, you propably have to pay for it. though you can send it to microsoft and let them upload it as XBox Live Arcade game, then other people can download it for free.
