Hi to all!
I want to do a question, that I have already done once, this is again the same problem, that is if I put a model together with a block entity, the shadow of the model doesn't fall to the ground but remains to a certain height: here you see the shot example; in the trunk of these trees have put a block entity for avoid that the trunk is passable. does some other have had the same problem?

Create a model entity and place it at the position of the tree. Additionally you can influence the way the shadows are casted by shadow_mode.


Always learn from history, to be sure you make the same mistakes again...

Alternatively use stencil shadows or even better, use a shadow map by placing an invisible tree-shaped block at that position.
