Just wondering if there is a way I can tell what language posts are in before I open it. It's a little annonying when a open a post with an english subject and it turns out to be German or some other language I don't understand. My gripe for the day..

A) Look at the title; German posts usually have distinct German Titles. B) Sometimes they will have the german flag as an icon on the left hand side. This is the best way but very few people do it. C) Learn german and that way every post you open will be readable!!

He had already said that they had english subjects in the title.
There is no way to prevent openeing them but give me a break, the matter is of little consequence, it only takes 2 seconds to navigate away from a thread you cant read, is a very trivial concern I would say.

You could learn prediction or clairvoyance

welcome to the world with other languages next to english...
I understand every post in this forum
Good on ya buudy. Do your release projects with different languages support? It may be more profitable for you to do so if you don't. How hard is it to learn a new language? Do you know of any free language learning sites? It may be a good idea for me to learn?
!!

Very true, The problem is, As many know over here in good ol oz the internet is still very expensive, It is a waste of bandwidth. Over a period of time those psots could add up to for eg: 4meg of bandwitdth wich could of been better used for a dowloading good tutorial, The next upgtade, the next AUM etc. If you get my meaning. I am on a AUS $69.00 Month liberty plan, That allows me 12gig a month I have kids at home and my wife also uses the internet. So that 12gig doesn't take long to chew up. If we go over our bandwitdh our speed gets Slllooowwwwwed right down to 6.4KB. So it can take upto a minute or more for a post to open. Even longer if it contains pics etc.
But like I said, This is just a trivial thing no biggy. I was just curious tis all.

I studied German for two years in school, but because it was an online course with no real teacher, it was very hard to follow. I tryed hard to learn it, but i still only have a vague knowledge of german. I have a hard time reading the german posts here. Ich spreche nur wenig Deutsch...
