d3d_entsort = 2 ? kinda smaller than the material
you can find me with my face in the keyboard, unshaven, listening to some nameless techno tragedy, and hashing through code over a cold cup a stale joe.

O_o ? i guess you're talking bout Shorevietam's code, but he doesn't have any line with d3d_entsort there.

no if you just simply put d3d_entsort = 1 2 or 3 at the beginning of your code, it will solve most sorting errors associated with the Z-Buffer

no problem, and btw you model is very high quality, and that hair just doesnt do it justice. I suggest you perfect a method for tga hair using alpha channels (which is what I think someone else mentioned). I have two posts under showcase I, which shows proof of how good it can look on a model. Your results will vary depending on the style and your alpha channel tweaking. One of my posts also includes a video tutorial I did on how to make alpha hair, but judging on your artistic ability, I doubt you'll need to be watching that hair pic post: http://www.coniserver.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/771282/an/0/page/1#Post771282
