well done!

sometimes the boxes fly through geometry. did you try to turn on continuous collision mode?

did you use the dll included in my example or did you download the newest one from the newton site? it could be that the one included in my example is an older beta version with some bugs. i forgot about checking this and updating my example.

i think we should also try to look into newton materials. they are an important newton feature.

I just tried it and the download seems to work well...

I downloaded it completely about two hours ago and played around with it
The hinges and the physics are working great. I created MANY cubes without noticing a slowdown.
So, thank you very much for reminding me to have a look into Newton, when I´m getting more into lite-c.
Btw, I´m actually trying to create a simple to use ragdoll physic using the 3DGS Physics, okay I know it is ODE .
I´ll definatly create a newton Version for it. It seems to be much more realistic and faster at the same time (though I think that it is possible to get similar results with ODE when enough time is invested into using it -.-).
My only problem at the moment is this:

Thanks very much D3D for giving an alternate link.

The code contribution is absolutly fantastic except for the collision problem. Sometimes the boxes fly through geometry. This I also saw in ventilator's contribution. It is a problem in Newton itself, I think. Now the Ragdolls example would complete the Newton Physics.

i think this happens because i included the wrong newton dll (maybe some old beta which was on my hd). in the other thread bigm had the same problems and according to him using the newest dll from the newton site fixed it.

I have downloaded the Newton 1.53 version and copied the dll to demo folder, ut the collision problem still persists. Might be a problem with continous movement, as change the angle or distance of your throw, then the collision takes but when you are in same position and angle then there are no collisions.
