At the moment I'm working on the final steps of the game.

I want to restart the game when all players fainted, if one is still there, the others "resurrect" as it is now.

But I'm wonder how to "end" the game.
I have 2 ideas:
1. The players get set back into the first level (forest) but the factor for the enemy count gets increased every time all three levels are finished.
2. When the last boss has been beaten the players get set back into the forest level where all 17 different enemies can spawn and the spawn count is higher than normal since some weak enemies spawn, too.

Which one do you like more or do you have better ideas?

I would take the first one. I Thinks its better , if the Enemy Count increased not too much. Make it Step by Step

I choose the round system with increasing enemy numbers.
It is not necessary to have batch files to start the game any more. ^_^

Tomorrow I'll do the final testing with a friend, looking for bugs and testing the difficulty level.

Good morning!

I just finished this first version of "Starbattle" this morning after some testing with a friend yesterday.

Well there should be at least 2 players since the characters support each other with their abilities.

Use F12 to stop bgm or F11 to show framerate and outgoing traffic causend bei SEND_X() instructions.

When all characters die you start from the beginning of the _current_ world, _not_ from the total beginning.


It was so much fun playing it with my friend, all those enemies and spells, everything flashing, the camera shaking, damage number flying around everywhere!
We're planing to do a 4 player session with my brother and another fried via internet within the next days to see how it rocks with all 4 player characters at once.

Downloaded the demo and liked it very much. Though havent tried for multiplayer, will try soon. Thanks for not hiding the resources, will help study your technique.

Very nice, worked well in Multiplayer (I only have one machine for the test)

The mix of grafix and gameplay is fun for batteling togeter.

But the creature, that is selected should be highlighted to see wich one
is selected.

Cant I attack one of the human players in the game?

In the beginning it was possible to do everything on everyone, but we hit our selfs too often in battle and thus I disabled it.

I'll take the highlighting tip, thanks.

I tried it with my friends via internet, but we couln't connect, I don't know why.... =(
