There would be no advantage , I would sujjest not upgrading , it's a waste of money. I myself was looking forward to A7 , now it's here , and all you have to do is look at the feature list and webpage to know it's the exact same thing as A6, it's a complete piece of crap. A7 is such a ripoff , everyone here waited so long for it , we all thought A7 was going to be a real step up for the engine , and it wasnt , it's basically A6, no real upgrades of any kind. Unlimited physics ? Models have shadows ? WOW , incredible , really incredible , wasnt all this possible in A6 pro already ? So whats new in A7 ? Where are the awesome integrated shaders , the new render , the nice and smooth dynamic lights , the new better shadows , The better interface , the ingame editor ? Seriously , A7 is one of the biggest dissapointments as an engine update ever. It doesnt even qualify as an engine upgrade , what have the Conitec people been doing all this time ? Where are all these features which are becoming the standard of the new generation game engines ? I really would like this questions to be adressed , i've posted my thoughts before , but the fanboys always jump to defend gamestudio saying there's been stuff added , but i just dont see what , and whatever they did is no good and useless to most of us anyway. Lite-C ? who cares for lite C , no one gives a crap for it , if i wanted a more complex scripting engine I would just code through C++ dll , this is retarded and useless. So , here we are , again , pretty much with a new A6 called A7 , this really should be called A6.9 or something , it's definately not A7. A big BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to Conitec for rereleasing A6 as A7 and charging for people to upgrade. Now I'm really starting to think about moving to the Torque engine , I've always prefered GameStudio , but it looks like this engine is just stuck in the mud , while lately Torque has been getting some really awesome upgrades. Dont know , but I've always loved gamestudio , but this time around I was really really dissapointed with the new A7.
