When you pan, sometimes the computer crashes. I think it is when you pan too fast or too much. Happens in WED and MED.

It's probably having something to do with your computer (I can't confirm it). Have you tried different GXL dlls? This may be part (if not all) of the problem.

This does indeed not sound good. Make sure you have updated to the latest video driver, and check out the hints in the "Computer crashes" section of the bugs page.
