There really isnt that much difference in the two for this particular snippet, but it can range drastically, because the more code you have, the more it starts to look different, it just depends on the code. This is really only one small chunk of a much larger piece of code that relates to spell casting. If you saw the whole code you would see some changes. All of the little things start to addd up after a while.
