Didn't know where else to post this so I figured here. Move it if it's wrong.
Gamestudio is a great product. I love it. I have seen many of the contest that Conitec runs and I had an idea. Why not all the users, the regulars on the forums, create a game using Gamestudio. We have enough people that organized properly we could create one hell'uva game. We've got modelers, animators, coders, level designers, everything. I understand it's a complex thing, making games, but so is making animated movies, and a company i've worked with has taken the user community for their product and started making a movie with it, as a way for everyone to learn and show off their products features. Any takers on this?

You're not the first one with this idea actually This has been tried several times before without success. Mostly, because every forum regular is busy with his own projects. I will move this post to Morbius, since it's no real request. Good luck anyway.

Perhaps. That's why I mentioned a director. Someone to control the flood of information. The first thing you have to realize is a solid idea. This could be controlled with a simple majority vote. After that it's just a question of people being mature enough to realize that some things just will not work, regardless of how jaw-dropping awesome they are. Still, i think it could be done if everyone involved would be realistic when approaching it.
As for file sharing, Tortise VN (I think that's how it's spelled) would work for transfering files. Anyone who's ever made a game should have some sort of idea of how the process works. This is simply a suggestion at the moment, but with enough votes I would be more than willing to undertake running something like this.
At the least this would really show people with doubts what Gamestudio can do. I'm sooooooo sick of hearing about Torque blah, blah, blah. I have a copy and it ain't all that. Gamestudio is much easier to use.
If anyone is interested in this please voice your opinion here.

as much as you insist, I am here since A4 times. This topic has come along around 20 times, even I made one many many years ago. It just wont work out.
