Typical for an opposition politician, or a presidential candidate:
Blame the "government" for spending too much money,
promising to remove the IRS and the income tax,
(wich everyone would like of course). But on the other side
never specifically stating wich expenditure should be cut / reduced, so
none of the voters feels attacked personally.
/and thus would not vote for him / his party)
Less Taxes mean of course less expenditures. And a lot of people, organizations
and businesses would loose some kind of support.
People are easy to cheer up by simple "make everyone happy" proposals.
Its as true as when guys say to a girl
"I just want to kiss, not more"
and later:
"Its not going to hurt baby"
