That idea wasn't liked very much as it creates problems with the licensing as you would need to change everything everytime you buy an additional feature and so on... Although such a modular version would be fun indeed... Enjoy your meal Toast

It is up to Conitec and whatever they call the license. They can extract (if possible) the feature to a standalone file, just update once and apply to all, and it will increase their sales I think

Extra - 99 Commercial - 199 Enterprise - 699 Pro - 899 Enterprise is the pro edition as yet known, pro will be shipped with source code. That would be cool, wouldn't it

free PLE edition $100-$200 indie (now known as commercial, but with all pro features, only publishing limitied, no commercial publishing license) $3000 pro -as you said, if someone really wants to be commercial, 700 or 3000 doesn't count.
and i'd like a separate comm publishing license, around 200-500 maybe. most user just play with 3dgs and release their software for free. only some have one big commercial project. it a publishing license would cost 500 plus 200 indie license, we would have nowaday's PRO again, so no lost for conitec, only a gain for its users as they get all the features.

i didn't find the tools that helpful in a6 so i always thought a pro edition without the tools would be nice. ...but i guess the tools will become more useful again with fbx support for levels and the new map compiler and so on. actually the current editions are very ok. there is something for everyone even a free fully functional lite-c (for non-commercial use)!
