Hi,

I am wondering: Seems A6 is based on ODE (thats what the ODE website says).
ODE is a very powerful (an complex?) physics engine. Why we put so much effort into integrating NEWTON in our games ? Or is it transparent to the 3DGS user, either use build-in, Newton or ODE (not sure if someone did that before) for physics.
Correct me if I am wrong or the question is just dumb ;-)

Newton is also a very complex physics system, and so are many others. In fact, there are MUCH more complex systems.

...But back to the topic, which I've dicussed ~4 times now, it's by preference. I think Newton has much more solid physics than 3DGS ODE, but it has to be integrated, and has it's limitations...

also 3dgs doesnt let lower editions use physics thru the built in one
