Thanks for the links. I found interesting images showcasing soft shadows plus parallax mapping. This is what I am looking for to show my models and textures real-time in a good light.

Maybe I really should check that out:

I have visual studio express edition , but asks for registration after some time
to continue using C# i'll have to ...
Don't know if license agree to product one or more commercial game with
visual studio express ?

Apart from that , screens of shaders look good, it would be cool to run
a real little game a small level with some stupid animated models to shoot,
all with normal/specular shaders and dynamic/static lights in Bioshock game style !!
Try demo of Bioshock people , it's amazing, original world, very diersified game play to kill ennemies and lot of powers to choose from

Well all people using BLitz3D or Dark Basic should turn to TV3D , but they do what they want

From the VS express FAQ:

- Can I use Express Editions for commercial use?
Yes, there are no licensing restrictions for applications built using the Express Editions.

TheExpert - There is Cobra3D coming out soon next week, which is totally inspired by Blitz3D and is dx9 with full shader support. It has its own compiler and language. Almost all Bigies of Blitz3d are there at Cobra3D and are very much happy with. TV3D has been left behind due to Cobra3D and b3d model support. Looking forward to play with the demo next week.

I don't see any big site on Cobra 3D !

Where is a feature pages ? (i doubt it will have as many as TV3D :
3D standard, great terrain and multitexturing, shadows ,shaders
with dynamic lights , physics etc ... all simple functions)
some 3D demos ?
Few lines of code like TV3D ?
Caus in Blitz3D asked too many lines compared to some others engines

And BLitz3D format is not old now ?
TV3D format can integrated lightmap , normal/specular maps etc ...
a link ?

I have in plan a 3D shoot them up : so TV3D or 3DGS will suit perfectly !
But people wanting big games need power, lod , perhaps some scene manager ,
etc ... TV3D can handle big games perhaps( i steel need to see a big complete outdoor game in Oblivion style , and doubt we will see one in indie area).

Cobra 3D is not very popular everywhere and lot younger than Ogre3D, TV3D and ome others , but if you have a link to the 3D part , features and some demos ?

Another big problem : write your own tools :
TV3D engine can run easily in windowed mode on a windows form :
you can add windows sliders buttons etc ... and place directly in their
events some code like :

moveObject(object1,100,100,0) ;

Cobra 3D like Blitz3D don't support that. so creating some special tools like
world editor, model editor/properties, RPG panels for editing characters
attributes etc ... won't be easy.

Blitz3D had some Gui made by some guys, but waiting a year or more to Cobra to come popular, free of bugs , some good GUI etc ...
Not for me.
