So im running a6 on my laptop which has an AMD 64 Athlon X2 Processor with 1.6 gighz, 1gig of ram and have a NVIDIA MCP67M. to see how it works i ran a level with only a cube in it
i see some things:
1) no jagged edges
2) good detail
3) LAGGING

why is it lagging??? i know my old laptop was pretty crappy and it didnt lag and but the cube edges were jaggy. how do i fix this? i tried monkeying around with the nvidia control panel

please help,

Alex

i have an opteron 170 (which is an x2 with bigger cache and 2.0GHz each core). there are some known problems with amd dual core processors. try 2 things:
1. download the appropriate driver from the amd homepage (exe file)
2. amd has a tool called "dual core optimizer" http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html try it. solves several timing problems.

might be your notebook graphics card as well, as they tend to be generally slower.
