The book is "The elegant universe" by Brian Greene. I think there is a documentary film with the same title out there as well.
I hardly know anything about string theory right now myself, but I was just interested in whether you people think of it being possible. I mean, tiny little strings make up everything that exists?
And how can modern religions explain that to us? I mean, can Christianity offer an explanation for those strings - just assuming that they do exists? It struggles with explaining how the Big Bang and Evolution, two theories that have been proved right (I hope I am not gonna open a big discussion about those two now...) fit into the bible and so on...
That was basically all I wanted to know from you guys. I do realize that you can't know everything
