Well its time for me to acually develope a commercial release
title
after all the test levels done and a little
catching up needed to work with A7.

Whilst the end result will probably be A7 lite-c, development
is A6 scripted in the interim.


1. Multiplayer element is currently aiming for 'Populace'
intergration.

2. Camera is first/third person perspective within an
underground environment.

3. Story is set within contemporary times around a character
who has found the entrance of a rumoured cavern system used
by the 'Forerunners' who dissapeared around 500 years ago
and seeks to explore.

4. Cavern system is comprised of both artificial
and natural caverns and hosts many species of cave dwellers,
forerunner technology (Biotecture) and hybrid species.

5. Player finds an artifact which provides weapons
and protection but due to its biomech nature, must be fed.

6. Vehicles ATV Exoskeletals, Crawlers, Flyers with
all vehicles capable of wall/ceiling climbing.

7. Due to the environment, most weapons or machinery needs
to operate at silenced capacities

8. Remuneration is dependant on SALES which will be
supported by a 'Serialisation' business model and also targeted
to a guaraunteed niche client profile. SMALL returns
are assured (30 to 50K) at initial Game release.
All assetts belong to the project alone, how ever,
even disbursments after costs is the remuneration model
.


9. Deriviatives may be freely used following initial
publication release


At this stage world building is just progressing using
mainly models but will contain many CGI brushes
(geometry).

Progress to date [Level_1a].
Character sketch comprises a 'normal' human and an 'enhanced'
symbiotic Biomech suited figure.

World sketches comprise Mountain entry model, access tunnel
model, forerunner Observatory and outpost station model
with wmbs, liftshaft and main station node model with attendant
access ways.

Level 1 will be comprised of
a. Outpost complex and transit system.
b. Disused Forerunner mine systems.
c. Laboratory complex.
d. Manufacturing and maintanance system.

Totall levels is expected to be 3 where level_1a is to be the
Demo.
Development duration is expected to be 6 months.
Game life is expected to be 3 years.

TEAM MEMBERS WANTED


Animator - Models, effect images
Lead Programmer - Overall intergration, lite-c conversion
LOD modeller - Characters, scenery, environment
Modellor - Characters, levels
Support Programmer - Effects, scene managment - c scipt
Texture apllicator - All textures
UV mapper - All models




Positions are open to anyone capable of providing the services
called for and not all are currently listed.

As this is the beginning, creative input will be looked at but
no guarauntees offered to implement.

This is your chance to be in on a commercial centered project
and to gain experience in remote game development production
cycles, milestone evaluations, distribution models and revenue
aquisition.

NDA is obligatory and limits you to non dislosure at any stage
prior to publication release timeframe.


Pm or post your interest, time committments, skills and
position sought as well as your remumneration expectations.

Without you, this project would need more than 18 months.

A 'Showcase1' thread will be opened in due time with screens and
a basic overview of the story elements, technology and gameplay.

What about pay, I cant work on free teams, but I am am skilled in Programming, character modeling and texturing. I can show you some work upon request.

Hi lostclimate, thanks for your interest but I am seeking a working team under the old "you make money when I do" or "when it sells" banner, its the only realistic development model for me.

You are welcome to participate as you see fit but we would need to assess any contribution paid or otherwise on the overall importance the contribution is to the project how ever, as a team member the proceeds would be split on an even share schedule for this title with the option to remain on the team for further projects or ongoing work.


Please feel free to request more info if you like as the post is merely introductory.

ANNOUNCEMENT

I am pleased to advise that aztec has indicated involvement in modeling non humanoids and some skinning work giving the project a firm start.
aztec comes with many years in GStudio and has a current demo in showcase.

@ Partner/teamMates,
Collanos content transfers is at 50 mgb and shows only level.
Transfer is slow but once all remotes are synched, transfers would be faster.

Need your Collanos Workspace names in order to invite to Project workspace.

@ ALL, we desperatly need more modelers to make small lod step models, character refinements and texture arists too.
