Most photo shops have special software to read the card on your camera. So that would be the first thing to try. Otherwise you could use a card reader and try to copy the content to your hdd. To make long story short. Nothing is erased from the card unless you make new photos. Then it overwrites. The same goes for sim cards on mobile phones.

yup, they just go to an invisible data block.
so, advice would be to not make any n ew photo's, and see if there is a company that recovers these kind of files (have heard of that before).
That and the ubuntu live CD like xwcg said are about the only solutions i can think of...

Maybe there are some things you can do or how to fix the problem:

(suposed you use winXP and photos are stored in the camera 32 Mb memory and you see these memory like a disk ex: G: on MyPC folder)

1º Be sure your USB camera cable its works well
2º try to donwload from the camera to other computer / other OS

its possible that the camera firmware can read the pics inside but maybe the memory its unreadable for your computer (some memory block damaged etc)

if this happens you have two ways

1- try to read the camera with other firmware device, Archos DVR,s can read from other USB devices directly and copy the archives in the archos Hdd, may be some of your work mates or friends have something like this, or you can test it wit a local electronicks shop or mall

2- Try with "Bad Copy Pro" http://www.jufsoft.com/badcopy/ can repair and read deleted archives

If none of this works tell us

we work with digital cameras in hard conditions and have similar problems every day

Good Luck

First of all, I want to thankyou all for the attention to my problem, Its very important to me, as you all can of course understand.

I tryed D3D suggestion , moved the pictures to a memory card, and then tryed to read it in a company here that works with photos. In theyr kiosks it didnt opened, and then I tryed "badcopy" software from Kabezon tip, and it fixed the pictures !!!!!

People, I must thankyou all a lot.

And assure, my main reason for all this is the boy well living, and will always think firstly in this.

Thankyou a lot you all !
