I understand him as ambassador did. And I think he's somehow right. The "procedural" thingy will not prevent you from being an artist to produce a piece of art also.

E.g. a poser model will never look as natural and original as a custom made 3d character would (don't want to start a poser discussion in here - I had my poser discussions with other 3D Artists... the outcome? Well, letz say: Poseruser hate me for my opinion about it

). So the original artwork; the original art of an artist will always be more appealing to the viewer than the "procedural" created "Art" could by any means.
In my opinion, making games while you are not an artist, is kinda odd... because making games is an art of itself (a real art). So the given user has no other choice than become an artist somehow - or nothing will ever appeal in any way.
