hast du es mit dds texturen ausprobiert? die engine hat die eigenheit (jedenfalls war das bis vor kurzem so), dass es bei normalen texturen nur 3 mipmap stufen gibt. vielleicht ist das bei extremer kachelung zu wenig. am shader kann es auch liegen wenn dort das mipmapping falsch eingestellt ist.

yes, but better do some experiments first. i would only do such optimizations if they really have a big enough effect to be worthwhile. a nicer workflow is more important in my opinion.

Aber es gibt grundsätzlich 3 mipmapstufen? Und zwischen denen wird interpoliert?
