Which is quite honestly the most pathetic thing ever... and I don't quite agree. It's definitely there for companies to be able to say 'screw you we told you this could happen' more so than to really prevent stupid people from doing stupid things... because honestly I don't believe stupid people would actually read those labels before doing their stupid things...
I also genuinely think that most of those lawsuits simply have been the result of America's law system where you can sue anyone for just about anything.

Most of those warnings are true, but the accidental pet/baby microwaving is Urban Legend. And the hot coffee lawsuit was a bit more complex then just "stupid lady spills coffee on self". In short, do a little research before you condemn all of humanity to extinction.
