Hello,
I'm trying to animate a character in MED by using bone animation. My problem is that whenever I animate one frame, the next frame automaticaly animate by giving my character the same pose as the previous frame. I understand that they did that so that people could animate faster by starting with the previous frame as reference. But the problem is, whenever I want to go back and refine previous frames, this affect all the frames after that and mess up everything.

Does anybody know a way to turn that function off? I search the tutorials and manuals, but I can't find anything.
Thank you

You can make a copy of the first frame with Edit->Add new frame->Source frame

Thank you DerOmega for your fast respond.
However, I'm afraid I cant find that function, at least not on the A7 version of MED.

I did go to Edit -> Manage Frames -> Add New Frame
If I make the source frame the first frame of my animation, my character will have the same pose as the first frame, but that wont solve the problem since changing any frame before my new frame will still move the bones in my new frame.

For example, if I have 3 frames. I finish the second frame and start working on the third one, and then decide to change something in the second frame. The bone in the third frame will also move relative to the second one, and I have to redo frame 3. If I have multiple frames, that is a big problem.

If someone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
Thank you.

Salim

Been awhile since Ive used it but I thought you could spread edits across all frames by checking the right box.

Just checked MED A7 out and the checkbox is gone though export to ascii is still there so export each set as a precautionary backup, do your editing then if it fails, import the old anim edits back and try again I guess.
