Hey... is there any way to stop populace from crashing when the IP isn't found??
it always crashes for me...
something like "if no response from populace for 20 secs, abort"?...
(using A6)

Dang... yeah, I remember the game you made... it was at the same time that I started learning populace.. "bomb a online"? or something like that. I don't remember: did you ever finish it? I don't want the clients to crash every time they use the wrong Ip!! HELP, POPULACE TEAM!

yep, the bomberman online game. I stopped to work on it because of that bug. now, when I hav some free time, I use the GSTNet plugin. it is mostly the same workflow, you should check it out

hm... I don't wanna rewrite it all...
and It's working fine.
Also, I found a way around this: check out adoado's file transfer dll. it's great, and we'll use it to load a file from the server, to see if he's still up. then, when he is, and the file transfer works fine, you'll connect...
