I downloaded the model files but don't know which directory to unzip them into.

Can anyone tell me how to install the model files that I downloaded from 3dgamestudio website. And how to include them in gamestudio.

Thanks.

1: There are quite a lot downloads concerning model files on the conitec server so what do you mean in particular?

2: You want models for using them in your project so put them into your project folder or a with path linked subfolder if you want to have your folders in some order.

EDIT: To make that clear, if you just have model files, you can put them everywhere, you just have to show GS in your script where to search for them. This you'll do with defining PATHs.

Moving the model files into the project folder worked. Thanks

But I have another problem, one of the models called witch has several animations
that she goes through when I put her in the room. She starts swimming, walking, running in a loop. In GameStudio I right clicked on her and selected Behavior, but it comes up empty. There are no animations to select?

How do I get her to do one of the animations?

Tnanks.

Did you include a script file that contains the action code? There needs to be an action script located somewhere in your code. Then the action name will appear in entity options and you can select it.

Yes, as tindust said, if your just starting try going to File > Map Properties

Then name the script and click the new script and one of the template projects.

The go File> Project Manager then to the ADD tab and add scripts that you want to play around with.
Biped_Player will have you control the player and make her animations run like their supposed to.
but there are many more.
