I got one semi working with c-script. biped can swim he drowns but
I can't get him to bob while head above water. I asked for help
to get that part working. No one helped so I gave up.

well wooper, i have a level that my plbiped entity swims in, not up to the knees, but fully submerged, with diving and submerging. i used a map entity with the water texture, and the water in the templates. unfortunately, i havent been able to get a water shader to work for the surface. other than that, i have a fully swimmable level.

Hey Blink, Just a thought with the water you used did you use
a mdl,wmb or hmp. I used the water.hmp from the car level project
in A7 and the water action from the default scripts and mine works great.

i used a wmb, and it worked great. just a map entity with the water action. problem is, it really didnt look as great as the water shader water. those obviously look realistic, but for use as a body of water the map entity worked fine. now to get a water shader that works is the trick.

Ah ok. I just misinterpited and thought that you had problems
with the water not reflecting and seeing the bottom.

I'm glad that's not the case..

not too sure how to do that, but i can tell you, everything is black. i use slins effect, and it worked, but the reflection was all wrong, but when i use a large hmp. i lost the shader and an error about the size happened.

you can upload your screenshot to your web site and then use that
as your image link in your post.

Hmmm, That is wierd what are the specs of your grafx card?
Does it support v1.1 - v.2 shaders.
Also what version of 3DGS do you have.
How are you setting up your graphics options in your code.

Sorry for so many Q's but it may help solve your problem.
