Thanks for the tip, I knew that doing it in vc++/eclipse/ultraedit..... would be an easy and viable option so I will switch editors for now.

I may as well go with the vc++ route as I already use that to write plugins etc. Is there a tutorial anywhere for configuring VC++ (2005 Express) to compile lite-c to exe, would be most handy if there were.

On the flip side I still think that it would be a useful addition to SED because it is the sanctioned editor for GS and apart from being a little lacking in the auto-complete side of things it actually isn't a bad little editor.

I think GS is a nice system (I started with it years ago with A6 then went away from it for a while waiting for lite-c and now A7 is here and lite-c is in place I am back with it) so I am keen to see both the core engine and the tool set with which it is shipped become all it can be.
