Loop,

C-Script is high school puppy love, young and pure and ignorant.
C-Lite is college deep love, mature and freaky and well-versed.

Trust me, your feelings for C-Script will pass if you ever decide to take C-Lite to the prom (and a hotel after ).

i just started to get used to c-script and really understand what i am doing. i am an old guy and its kinda hard to focus on new concepts without getting confused. i am an artist first, so i picked up the level design and modelling easily, but the coding was a challenge. now that i am finally getting used to it, i am told that its on its way out? well, thats not fair, and on top of it, with two children a wife and mortgage, i cant really afford an upgrade. so i guess when it is finally outdated, i guess us old guys and our dead c-script will be taken out back and shot, right? maybe someone in the future will talk about us, and our dead c-script scrolls. and how we lived in our days.......maybe, and maybe they will worship us......maybe.....maybe not....?

My Famous Quotes: "Hip hop is like a virus, infecting everyone and everything around it. Every form of media has some way, shape or form, assimilated hip hop into it." It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

Lite-C is barely different than C-script. It's just a really big pain converting. Took me almost 3 weeks to bring my project over. It also compiles a bit slower, and doesn't seem to run quite as quick as C-script. But all the new features are in Lite-C so theres no choice but to convert.

if i want to created very complex game, i use a very complex game engine. (any engine)
but i am a beginner. and 3dgs(c-script) very easy. i learn use it .(short period .)

but now c-script is a dead. i am very unhappy.

For god´s sake people, it's not dead all that much! Every 3dgs programmer here can help you with c-script problems because we all have programmed in c-script. It still works fine in A7, it's just not as free and flexible as lite-c. And lite-c isn't really that different, plus it's more than c-script. Just because you are used to c-script doesn't mean it's way easier to use. On the contrary, you can avoid many many workarounds and simplify your code alot now. All it takes is learning the changed grammatics of c-script, which isn't alot. If you did that, there's sure alot more to learn about lite-c, but if you don't feel like it, you don't have to.
What is everyone complaining about?

If you really really want to stick to c-script, then stick to A7 and do so. You can create great fun games without the newest effects as well.

It will not work with A6, only implemented in A7.
