I want to play footstep sounds in time with my walking animation, I was wondering if it's possible to find out what frame is being played in the current animation and then play a sound. I can do most of this myself, I just don't know how find out what frame the animation is on.
I hope that makes sense, I didn't know how to describe it properly.

open the model with MED and switch to "Animation".
Then trace through the walk animation and get the frames you want to play the sound.
If you use ent_animate you can calculate the percentage of the proper frames (0..100% for all frames "walk" e.g.)
