according to the help if the window is defined with empty brackets in the .wdl file we can suppress the display of the start window with A7 Pro.....

If I do not put a MODE value inside the brackets like the following it will not compile--Error has occured: ERRNO #288.289

so what exactly is the trick to suppress the starter file with A7 Pro??

make the starter window size 1x1.

1x1 size won't work, it still displays a very small startup dialog.

But I just found another problem. I can't create the starter in SED, it complains cannot find starter information. But no such problem in WED.

hm? I think I've alread done a 1x1 window - but this was with A4 I think.

the only way I got it to work in SED was the click the "Starter" Box and Unclick the "Compile EXE" box.
