@chrisb i use A6 6.60, i will check the log. how do i use dll_open? where should i put that in my script?

chrisb i have created two small examples, and i will be emailing you with them and another problem that i will mention, which you can test yourself
@blink: just add dll_open("render2texture.dll"); at the very beginning of your main function and it will load, if it doesn't pop up an error, then the dll was loaded

i got an error when it ran. Malfunction W 1521, "can't load render2texture.dll"

ok, here's something to try, if you have the very first r2t dll demo there are two dx dlls, copy those and the d3dx9_36.dll into the main game folder, and if that doesn't work i'm not sure what to tell you...
if you already have the dll in the proper place AND you have made 100% sure that you have the latest dx9 version (if you're not 100% sure, download the web installer from microsoft) AND the dll is still not opening, then i do not know what the problem is, i had the "can't load" problem until i copied the dlls into the folder (which i then updated my dx9 thinking i had the last version, but i didn't), and it worked perfectly

i am having problems with the ms site and the download, my cpu keeps crashing. do you have the dx9 dll?
