i find for the basic the tutorial from 3dgs is very good. If you want more different tutorials you can find it at "au.conitec.net".
For the pure mode you have to include the following:
"#include <acknex.h> // include for Pure Mode"
For the legacy mode:
"#include <litec.h>"
You can find a lot from legacy / pure mode also in the AUM67 magazine.
