I think tS has is that Roman and the crew simply *refuse* to listen to what people want.
Nope, not the listening is the problem. Problem is that his company was too small to implement the stuff. Not enough manpower to implement the needed features in lifetime nor enough manpower to even fix the bugs. Which leaded to the fact that Roman decided to implement new features instead fixing the bugs to stay at least somehow up to date and to stay in business.
TS 7.5 was finally simply too big for this small company.
I still use 6.6 because 7.5 is too buggy and too incomplete to work with. I always ended in making a screenshot and reporting a bug instead getting things done.

It's virtually impossible to animate well in tS.
Yup. the old native bones are bastards. Oh what a battle to even do simple things. I had nevertheless my funtime with them
Motion Studio from Primitive Itch is freeware nowadays though. And still a great and easy to use bones system for ts 5 up to 6.6 (not sure if it works in ts 4. But it refuses to work proper in TS 7.5 Model side). Unfortunately you cannot export it. <-- that would have been a killer bones system.
The new native bones system of 7.5 is very promising. But still a bit too buggy for my flavour. Every step was guarded by bugs and quirks. I have given up rigging at the point where the default pose refused to work proper. And wait for 7.6 now before i touch this beast again.
