Biyu Biyu Rocket! www.bbrocket.com / Beta Trailor!
Biyu Biyu Rocket has been making tons of progress latelly.. We also have found a publisher, Dreams in Motion Productions, Inc. / DIM Entertainment. Visit our website, www.bbrocket.com to check out some new screenshots and the pre-beta trailor demo! (Note: The final trailor demo will be much differerent). The site is also a place holder until our webmaster kicks in! Just a little preview... Cu later,

Plumply and not smooth? What I saw on high bandwidth was pretty damn slick! Working on movement right now as I am, I can totally appreciate the level of control shown in the video. Nad, I was wondering if you had given any thought to giving us a post mortem on the boards or on your site once your project is "finished" (whatever that means in games )? I think it's really useful for a successful 3dgs related project to show the rest of us "how it's done"! Also, any deep thoughts you'd care to share about your quest for a publisher? Hints, tips, advice, recommendations, warnings, names, etc?

Looks kinda cool, I'd like to try it out.
Two questions:
1) What do you do in the game? Is it adventure, rpg?
2) When can we expect a demo?
By the way, I don't know why I'm saying this, but I'm looking at the screenshot you posted in this thread, and the bottom panel with the empty square spaces for special and upgrades... How about making those a different color since they're special? No idea why I came up with that, but oh well, I'm tired.

Hey.. thank you for the good remarks. The reason why there is very little video is because we are selfish and we don't want to give anything away Its just a little taste of the game.
Fastlane, I am considering it. A couple of howtodo tutorials in a pack is what I had in mind. If I were to do them, it would be after the game's release, and as long as it came out well
As for tips on a publisher, well I really don't have much to say. I'll admit - I'm very inexperienced in that area. We were lucky enough to have Dreams In Motion offer to be our publisher before we even finish the demo. If you're looking for a publisher, I'd sure reccomend them, they have been very helpful in the process, and have lots to offer.
EDIT:
What do you do in the game?
BBR is an action adventure about a young boy set out on a quest to save his lands (The Sea of Clouds), which were once Earth (After it was boken into shards my a massive comet), from the dark god who is casting shadow over the lands.
When can we expect a demo?
Depends, the actual demo will be completed July 14th. But the public release day may be later. The game will be completed Novemember 4, 2004.

Visually the game looks good, I wish you and your team the best. Just as a business tip I'd do a bit more research before just jumping at the first publisher that approached you. While this may give you the 'feel goods' if they have had problems, or don't have the money to deliver you could end up with a good game but no money. Ask what games the have published before and contact those people to see if they are satisfied, also as you get more to show talk to Nardulus and other guys who have actually gone through the process with some success. Hate to see you make a good game and get screwed. This may not be the case as they show more 'upcoming games' but won't hurt to check them out.
