Greetings every1.I think its time to post my project on showcase2.
Short description:
Short description.
You will be playing a private investigator named .....?! wich has been paid to find a missing kid in a small semi forgotten city(there will be a legend behind this).The kid has been kidnaped and the only edvidence found in the place where he dissapeard is a photo of him with his family made in a nearby small city called ....?!
The story will evolve,there will be another character wich will "help" the player through the game.

The finished project will include:
Dynamic camera change (static to chase)
Dynamic map
Cut-scene based story-telling
2 playble characters
1 Whole city to explore
Many types different enemys.
2 bosses
Weapons will vary from simple objects found in the level to handgun
This is all the info i can give now.Expect for new features to be included as development goes on.

I am a little concerned now about my well being. I am hearing dogs barking in my sleep. I guess it has something to do with the thousands of test on the alpha code that I have been doing.

It could be either one I suppose.

BTW, this game will show what 3DGS is capable of doing, so hang on tight, turn down the lights, turn up the volume, and some some fun, well, when the demo comes out that is.

1) ist das Gesicht des ersten Bildes Weise zu grossem, bilden es viel kleiner und es sollte okay sein.

3) drittes Bild, keine Beschaffenheit an allen! Was ist die Hölle das Problem mit dem?

Of course all single words are german, but it is impossible for a german to use these words in such a context, sentence and order. It looks like someone wrote it in a language and translated it into german with a translate software in the web.
It´s realy hard/impossible for me to understand what he wanted to say, and I am german.


In anyway I hope to see more shots and inofs to your game soon

Ok, here are some early alpha battle shots I have posted without permission. I am in trouble now!

First, this is not the actual level (it's just my test level while I am waiting for a real one), so no comments on default textures please. I am also waiting for an animated weapon model, so this one is just attached using vec_for_vertex() so it might not always look quite right.

The level may look a bit dark, but hey, it's supposed to be that way.

Anyway here are some shots:



Doggie got hurt and decided to run way. He won't get far though.


Dog for dinner, anyone? Dog meat is selling for cheap these days.

One more for those interested in FPS and Poly stuff. That's about as low as the FPS should ever get. The park has lots of polys plus the 3 dogs, the player, the weapon, the target selected box, a couple of trees, and a high volume of AI stuff going on in this particular screenshot. Usually it is running 150+ FPS. Geometry is clipped at 1600 quants.



Now I am off to eat some turkey and take a short vacation,
