BETTI - DEMO

Betti demo is finished so please feel free to download and play first 2 levels from complete game.
Indeo codec is required for logo animation, OGG Player and DirectX dirvers.

DEMO URL:
DOWNLOAD DEMO (47MB)
INDEO:
DOWNLOAD INDEO (2MB)

Web site is coming, game is already in stores, boxed version, 10 huge levels.

Game isnt easy, you will see, but when you used to controls you will enjoy in hours of playing, especialy in later levels with lots of enemies and lots of diamonds to collect.

CONTROLS:
ARROW keys - walk
SPACE - rotate wood platform when you are close to it.
A key, S key - camera zoom in and out
1,2,3,4,5,6 - change active camera. This feature is used only for better preview of level because automatic camera change, works good.

There is 4 players to select, boy is much faster than girls.

I hope you will enjoy and not be so nervous if you cant make second level

it took me a lot of time to complete the second level, are you sure this game is for small kids? XD

Yes, I told you it will be difficult
But I am positive about that, because my 5 year girl took the second level within a minute.

I made it like this, one level easy, second one hard and so on, little fight then resting.
Hey imagine third level with more than 50 ghosts on platform chasing you like mad dogs, thats the level

One thing is sure, it will took a lot of practice to finish whole game.
A boy from one school here, (where I installed game on several PC's), played 2 hours streight, only thrid level, and finally made it, he was happy like he was won the lottery. Then 4th level he made within 5 minutes
But it will keep the kids busy a lots of hours

The demo is of professional quality, so there is no place for critiques! Everything is tidy, models, levels, music are excellent.
Great product, not many games for that target group.
The things i didn't like are all a matter of personal taste and do not apply to the overall quality.
- I never figured out how to run, and the default walking speed is a little slow, as a result i didn't have much chance to evade the birds.
- The fact that the disappearing platforms never reappear (and there are not alternate routes) makes restarting the level obligatory at every error.
- The map takes a while to figure out (not entirely visible, thus trial and error gameplay should be used).

Other than that the product as i stated earlier is of very high professional quality. I'll surely purchase a copy once you're selling it on-line!
Good luck on your sales, profits and your next game

Thanks for your kind words.
Models cant run, because of that I have 4 players, each in different speed so you can choose whichever you like. Boy is faster than birds for example.
I used concept that where you dont have so much enemies you have to look carefully to find your way and collect all diamonds. In levels where you have dosens of enemies you will have to concentrate more to avoid them, than to find a right path.

Hi,

Nice game. There were a couple of small things I had a problem with, but we are past that point now aren't we.
The game is very tight and very professionally done. Nice models, good music, and... well, it's just a well put together game. I must say the kids are alot smarter than me. I am still thinking about how to do that second level.

Congratualations and may you sell many copies,
Loco

Nice game Dejan! It's weird seeing it in English, I was used to the other language it was in. It's definately worth buying, it has very professional quality. The kids will love it, and if it takes some of then 2 hours to finish one level, they've got 11 more to complete

If you press F1 for the help screen, there's no way to get back to the game. Pressing F1 again flips you back to the game and then immediately back to the menu. Also, while the game is loading(after clicking the desktop icon), you can Abort the load by pressing Esc. I'm not sure if that was by design or something Conitec set but you forgot to disable, but just a heads up if it's news to you.

Hey, when you press F1 you have OK button on the bottom line of screen which closes help screen, I dont now how you didnt saw that, because is pretty big
Maybe it's litle confusing, open help with F1 and close it with OK button, but hey
it tooks only once to figure it out
