Hello everybody.
I have worked on this project since March 2005.
At the beginning, i didnot know anything about C-script and 3D Gamestudio.
Thanks to the community on this forum ,i have learnt very much .
Hard work and self-abnegation made my project become true .
I want to share it with you.

Hi ZZZgames. Its a pretty common problem, limb shrink/flattening thats one impromvents many people want for med.

If you place your bone properly though it helps alot. Most of the time placeing the bones directly in the center of the model from a top and side works pretty well. Also many people add in some triangles at the bend points.

If I don't add extra polys say in the knee I move the verts up in the front of the leg higher then back and they bend nicely.

As far as animating goes, bone animation is harder in some ways than vertex animation. It just takes practice.

If Im not to lazy I'll see if I can find some example pics.

I couldn't imagine going back to vertex animation.
With my bone animation helper tool interpolation is (nearly) no problem and adding animations is one of the most important things to me, I use it everywhere.

You could even make one bone-only model to store the animations and apply all other model's bones to the bone angles of this model, thus you wouldn't need an animation in all the models exept this one.

Hey ShoreVietnam .Now you made me curious about the bone animation helper tool you are talking about .
I guess i m going to use search function of the forum.
Model animation is really important imho.

If i remember well , you can move separately each bone with bone-mdl,cant you?
For example can you move the head only with mouse movement?(ok it sounds like a noob question )

Guardian ,i 'd like to see some pictures because i cant see very well what you mean about extra polys.Thanks

I'm really tired and lazy so here is a picture showing what I mean. Its not one of mine.

But if you look closely at the elbows and knees you will see what I was talking about.

Cool ,i see what you mean now .
Yes that seems like a good idea for knees and elbows.
Ok.So MED bone rigging needs me to engineer the modelisation .

Hi FoxHound .

I stopped the kick boxing game....because i couldnot spend too much time on game programming...It's too long to make a good game when you are alone :s .I lost my dream
I was not on MSN because i forgot to log on it, or sometimes i m just too lazy to log on ....And its not my personal MSN.
