Demo of "Tower"
Download the demo (28 meg download) DEMO Tower is a fun game for the whole family. A game where you can shoot lazers and rockets have massive explosions and nobody dies. You learn how to play Tower very quickly but may never fully master this 3d puzzle game. Screenshots below I'll have a webpage up for tower very soon. While it doesn't say it in the help documents, you can press H for help and you can also use the controller to play the game. Tower is Copyright 2005-2006 Foxhound Production

I would have used Breakout except that Arkanoid has various options (including shooting the blocks) that the original Breakout did not. In any case, I think this is a very promising game. Good luck with it.

Nice game, I like it!
My personal proposal: Give the camera the ability to turn around the tower with a smooth and pretty high speed. When I stay pressing the firebutton, the gun should stay fireing. Start with a more simple gun but give my the possability to change to gun (more shots with a more frequency and so on...). This game will have his chance! Good idea!
Edit: Remove all the stuff you use from any 3D ressource site. Make your own material and design, the 2nd party ressources makes your game unprofessional!

This is an awesomely fun game. Really good job, Foxhound.
I don7t know if anyone else has picked up this bug yet, but when it says press any key and you press a key on the keyboard, it locks up. Works fine when clicking the mouse button.
Going in for another game!
EDIT> The rockets are a bit disappointing. Since they are supposed to be a desirable, powerful item, how about making them also set off the surrounding blocks with a huge, meaty explosion?

I'm not sure I understand you. If you press A-D, the left and right arrow key or the controller left and right, you turn around the tower. Do you want to go around faster then that? I can add in a speed bost key.
The only second party resources I have are the skycubes. And I like them and think they add to the game. The rest I either made, a friend of mine made or came with 3dgs and are so higly modified you can't tell (the rockets lost a set of fins and got a new texture). The sounds are soon to be replaced and so is the music.
Thanks for the Critics though, it is very much appericated in this Beta Demo.
A. Russell. When is this happeing? At the end of the level? Beginning of the level? Where? Thanks for finding any bugs. Nit picking is much loved at this point.
Edit: Oh, are you pushing the space bar? That's the pause button for the game.

Aha! That was it, the space bar. Might want to change that to make it idiot proof from people like me (or stick a big falshing PAUSE sign in the middle of the screen).
Also, you posted after I added my comment about the rockets. Take a look at my previous post.

Wow, your game is really good Foxhound! I was impressed by your ability to combine a puzzle game with newer and better graphics. You are a genius.

Ok, New version now, only 28 megs in size thanks to a few tricks i pulled.
This now has a red transparent "demo" in the left hand corner, it now says pause when paused and the rockets blow up a lot of blocks around them. You get points for that too.
Also you can shoot the blocks a lot more accurate now.
It's downloadable at the same link. Just give it some time, it's uploading as I write this.
