You can find the video here: (26 Megs DIVX)

Hello Felixsg,
All upgrades are simply the price difference between the versions. So from commerical to professional it will be 120 €.

Thank you,
Brad Grimm

Yes of course. I want to have the upgrades cost just the difference between the two versions, but there may be a small extra charge to cover merchant costs(share-it claims 3%-5% for each order i think..).
I'll release the upgrade prices, as well as team licence prices, after i deal with them..

It will also be possible to upgrade from Basic Beta to Plus Beta f.e... I'll be happy if i see people doing that, cause it will give me a chance to beta test how easy people manage to upgrade IntenseX in their existing projects.

Larry,

Just A few questions off the top of my head...
I appologize if they were allready covered.

1.) Will your AI have to work with A6's Template_6
or will stand alone or A5 templates work?

2.)Will the video Resolution requirment be lowered?
Personally I prefer 800 x 600.

3.) Will keys be configurable or at least will your provide
movement by Arrow keys as an alternative to WASD.
I prefer the arrow keys and really dislike WASD.

Thats all I can think of for now really look forward to
this.......

I would like to add a question as well:

Is it possible to create a game with non-distant attacks like sword or fist fighting?

What about defensive techniques - can I add something like a shield that protects me from attacking e.g. when I press right mouse?

Thank you very much for providing such amazing technology.

Hi Frank and Teutonic,

Quote:

1.) Will your AI have to work with A6's Template_6
or will stand alone or A5 templates work?

The AI has now been merged with IntenseX, which is a full game construction tool, taking you from beginning to the end, without any coding. It doesn't need any templates 6 or 5 to run, but someone may wanna use them if the IntenseX features don't cover him. There's basically two ways of installing IntenseX, one for beginners, and one for advanced users who program their own stuff.

Beginners
1. Select New IntenseX Project from the Project Manager in Wed.
2. Customize Wed panels to put your game together.
3. Optionally use Templates 6 (or 5?), or code your own, if there's a feature you miss.(I'm trying my best to make this step obsolete, but i can't include everything everyone needs..)

Advanced users
1. Edit your current project's main wdl and add "include <IntenseX.wdl>;".
2. When you run your project, it will NOT be affected in ANY way. It will run like it always did, like IntenseX doesn't exist(i'm not forcing some shooter player HUD to your project for example, since it might well be an Adventure game.
3. Play with Customizable wed panels, to add/remove IntenseX features, and set them to your own needs.
4. Modify/add to the existing IntenseX code.

Here's what a wed panel will look like in IntenseX. Me and Brad just finished making those...

Yes, you can use any resolution that A6 supports. I'll try to have a new Mother's Den version ready supporting all resolutions sometime soon..

You can configure all player input from wed panels. Nothing's hard-coded actually, so every single thing that you may have seen in the Mother's Den demo, from the sprites used for the blood effects and muzzle flazzes, to the number of shots of the uzi burst fire, are all configurable through wed.

The Mother's den demo includes some fist fighting as well as a crowbar weapon, and a weird gauntlet blade one.. To use yours fists, press 1. Then go straight ahead(missing the first right turn you see with the agents talking), take a left and keep following those turns. You'll find a crowbar in your way, and there's also a pissed off scientist in that room that will charge at you with his fists(unless he founds a weapon lying around). You can get the weird gauntlet blade weapon, from a Strafe's(red monster) dead body.

Shields, i have not included, so that would be one of the things you'll need to add on your own. Hopefully, i'll have some time for that in a future update.

Cheers,
Aris

Question:

For what purpose I use: Intense Script? Also if I purchase IntenseX commercial, is it possible to purchase the other tools afterwards and or do I have the option to update from commercial to professional in the future?

Last but not least: When IntenseX is going on sale, is it possible to download the documentation about the product for learning?

Thank you.

Can the intense AI have a forum for bugs, sugestions ...
And the AI can make the character stop and wait until one object if leave the way (sample: a door closed but open auto, or a car stop in front the character but this not avoid only wait the car pass)

thanks
