Here are my initial thoughts after completing the tutorial: -Its the best plug-in ever made for 3dgs -Its what Conitec should have given us -There is no comparable ai pack on the market for the price pros ==== -player, weapon, camera, and npc configuration is unlimited giving total power of creativity for customization. No game needs to look like any other game just becasue it uses the same system. everything is very customizable, and not only is everything customizable, but it is very simple and intuitive to do so. Its really a great library, though I have just started to look at it. It is also very huge, so it is difficult to review it all in a few paragraphs after a few hours playing with it. For me personally, it seems to be a must have. I am pretty much saving my self 100's probably 1000's of hours programming my own code by using this plug-in, and that is no exagerration. If you dont want to program your own game engine than buy acknex engine,...if you dont want to program a HUGE amount of your own ai, then buy this. I would call it like a foundation you build your game on. It adds a lot of base functionality, and ease of use which pretty much encapsulates an entire level of game programming. I do have some questions though, which I will post over in the 3rd party forum, but just for anyone's sake of information I can honestly say that yes, from what I have seen so far, Intense AI seems to deliver on what it promised so far, and it provides a good base layer on which to build a game with tons of work done for you. Note that I dont only have good to say about it, there are some not so positive aspects also; I have dozens of questions and I think there will be a lot to work through to get it to fit a game, which may take a lot of work for the next coming months getting it to integrate with what I need, but it seems to be a great foundational system. Like "Uber templates".

Has the Demo by any chance been updated?
No, The demo has not yet been updated, and won't be until we release IntenseX professional, Cause even now as we go though each version individually, we are profecting every line of code, and even adding new features. So once we release the Professional version, we are going to update Mother's Den with the released version of Professional! And also use the creation of Mother's den as the Professional tutorial.
Quote:
The Load Save problem
This Problem was caused by some errors in A6, Which have been resolved by us writing our own Load and Save System, and also is only available in the Professional Version and will not effect the basic version, So there are no issues here. Quote:
Resolution limit
The resolution limit was set due to some issues with our command and Dialogue systems, Again, these have been resolved and these again are only in commercial and up, so no problems with basic. Any resolution your game studio version supports, Intense X supports
Thanks and I hope this answers your questions, Brad Grimm

Just wanted to state that I really disliked your choice of product activation by e-mail. Its a bad choice in my opinion please think of another method. So if I bought this I would have all the same problems I had with Mystic Ai... Having to e-mail constantly. As I have been know to re-install Windows iteslf quite frequently to avoid what I refer to as "Windows Rot factor". When I buy a prouct I want to know I can use it when I want to; not to have to e-amil for permission to use my own bought copy..... just my thoughts.. *** Teutonic Darkness ***

Phemox: Yes tax is normal in Holland. I know they made it that way for business. However, we are not talking about a company in the Netherlands that does pay tax there. This is about a company on the internet sell software (electronic download) so no import/export of books-cd-dvd etc.
If you are from a country like Holland, then you'll simply have to pay the tax as customer, as developer perhaps also, but then it matters in which country your company is registered (well yeah off course you'll have to pay tax probably, but not necessarily VAT)
Anyways, I'm looking forward to new projects made using IntenseX, the Mother's Den was already very good,
Cheers

Hello everyone! I want to say a big thanks to the community for supporting us on this project. There's been a lot of man-hours involved on making intenseX, and i did had my concerns if this would ever pay off on all the time and money we've spent in it. I'm very happy to see that you've all proved me wrong. I'm now more motivated than ever to continue on the rest of IntenseX editions. Quote:
1) what is npc memory?
In IntenseX Basic Edition, if an Npc spots an enemy, he will not rest until that enemy is dead. Even if the enemy gets out of sight, or is not heard any more, the Npc will remember he's alive and try to bring him down. In later editions, Npcs will remember their teammates if they happen to need to follow their leader or report something to them. Also, in the mother's den demo, i had the strafes charge directly at the player's party, by creating them on the fly and feeding their memory with the player and his team by IntenseScript. So instead of giving the player the first shot like usual, this time it was the bad guys who had the element of suprise.

I urgent need professional or commercial edition, when can release?
I wouldn't hold my breath on it, it could take a while. I'm currently at work to get Plus edition out, but even that might take some time as well.
Quote:
A6.5 commercial+Sphere 2.0+IntenseX + Newton
...+TripleX's in-game editor, and i think we have a good shot of bringing that Fps Creator tool down, in both engine speed and ease of use . TripleX's editor supports customizable panels, so IntenseX will be able to run with it as well!

There were a few issues I hope are resolved:
1). The Load Save problem 2.) Resolution limit
These all work fine with IntenseX Basic edition, like Brad said

I know this may be an annoying measure, but try to understand that selling away plain source code leaves a lot of room for piracy, and although i trust most of the Gstudio community users, there's still lots of warez people lurking around.
I'm trying my best to make this as less annoying as possible! I've currently asked from 3 people to help me out with the activation e-mails, and i'm happy to say that 90% of the customers got a response back within 2 minutes. In the future, like brad said, we'll be changing this procedure with an automated website, where you'll be able to get your authorization code instantly at any time, and no matter how many times you need to re-install your software.
Double post coming up, in order to get the head on a new thread page...
