Biblefighters GetTheWord
Hi everbody! Here you find some pics and videos from one of my projects: Biblefighters GetTheWord. It’s a christian tetris-styled Action-Puzzle-Game. The goal is to to build verses form the bible by turning the GetTheWord cubes. Constantly changing challenges, different game modes like "Adventure" or "Fight Temptation", different characters and a multiple players option for up to 6 players are waiting for you. Here are the links for the videos: Video1 Video2 Thanks for your feedback! Im also searching for a publisher, it is completed to 98%! The game-text is at time only in german. If you are interrested send me a mail! More Infos at www.biblefighters.com

Just for the record, I don't think the fighter in Bible Fighters is meant to mean what most probably think it means. This isn't Super Punch-Out. It's probably meant in the "fight for what you believe in" way and not the beat the crap out of Bald Bull way.
"Uppercut! Uppercut! Body blow! Left! Left!" Heh heh.
he explained it one post before your previous post really clear:

Hi, first of all, thanks for all your replies. Here are the answers to your questions:
- I have nothing to do with that Bible Fighter Beat´em up... - a Demo will maybe come when the game is released - it´s right, the message of the bible is not to fight against people but there is for example "the good fight of faith" (bible: 1. Timothy 6,12)... Sometimes life is also a "fight" and the bible tells us the best way to win it... and that is the message of "Biblefighters"
I think he's got a good point there, but it's not the first thing you'd imagine nowadays with all the violence around us. Imo he does a great job trying to use the word fighters in a different context then the "Uppercut! Uppercut! Body blow! Left! Left!"-kind of way... hehehheee
this was no way a personal attach though OB, just pointing out a previous post
and @ 12 IQ-d person, just because you HAVE the art skills someone else doesnt have, doesnt mean you need to bash their games... instead, next time try to give some USEFULL feedback (like what kind of style DOES fit etc etc).
Jeez, i could have been moderator with these kind of posts, lol
regards,

You do a good job any way and its way moderating should be done IMHO. Personally I like and get the title but the points raised (e.g. negative marketing) are valid ones and can reflect on overall distribution rate. I think the art style is fantastic in that it generates a mood as soon as you see it, almost cute *edit Kindy style for me. More dev shots please

Here some words about the resources: I needed about 2 years for the game. It was my first real pc-project and also my beginning-time in programming something. I did many mistakes and much things too complicated but with gods help and the good examples of the aum-mags it worked step by step. The design and music-arrangments are also from me, now I´m working to increase the quality of the characters and graphics. I do it in my private time, my main-job is selling pc´s in a electronic market... By the way, I´ve got a son three days ago!!!

Well, his name is Samuel!
That's indeed a very nice name I hope your game sells well so that Samuel has the benefit of growing up as the son of a wealthy father (though prosperity is according to the bible not neccesarily something you should desire, but well... )

Bible Fighter is a good name for your game. Beutiful graphics, looks so good. Bible and fighter have always get hand in hand. See history from the first martys, templeknights, witchhunt, all moving to US during 1800, Christans fight against commies and latest the war against Iraq. So much evil in the name of Jesus and Jesus word are kind and warm. Strange world we live in. Everyday is a struggle.
