Yay! you can import .c4d files, so great for me. This is the first engine that support c4d file format directly that I've seen. So Ace

For my part Unity is the best thing i found in indie community. So much powerfull features, ready to use. Even the indie version is great, without all render to texture etc ... you can already publish to a web browser, and have the standard shaders, lightening, all easy to put with their complete editors. Just take a look at some of their tutorials, to see how easy and powerfull it is I have work to do asta la vista

Well, I asked the same question about two weeks ago and they told me that one was not yet in the works, that one was planned, but that finances had to come in line first before they could even start the port. They were hoping that sales of the current version of Unity would bring in the needed finances in order to fund the port.

According to both the email I received from Unity's CEO and their forum, there is NO ETA because work has not yet begun on the Windows port.

Hey Dan - How are you - hope you are good. I just don't understand this engine, its uses Mono and C# for its engine but does not have a windows editor I think this engine is so hot, just for the web engine because its so cool. If you look at their forum its about 25% of size A7 users (this is very rough) but they have put so much into the engine, I like how the shaders just work, still can't get a shader to work right in A7 and I've been over the shader PDF time and time again. The amount of copies they would have sold if they had a window editor! Well I'm thinking of a Mac Pro 8 core for my next machine, I would use boot camp for image work and Mac for Unity.

What is the ETA of Windows version? Hi Maybe this year if doable (from a email), but this does mean that they are at the early stage and may not have any code yet. So don't count on that
