I posted this in the other contributions forum, but it should be here. Just a fun project I mess around with when I have time. It's been up dated, A work in progress. You can change the variables for some particle options on the fly then save as an action .c file. Here's a link where you can get the files. Read the HOW TO:

The particle project has been updated 3/31. Read the Readme.txt and the message in the beginning of the program. I added a slider for time_step and a slider for a time loop that works with the timer button. Also a on / off button. Note the on / off button needs to be off for the timer button to work.

Update 4/4, there's an additional file called particleProjSunBurst.c to make a particle effect in all directions. Here's a link to download sunBurst.zip. Just put this file in the folder where particleProj.c is and run it. More screen shots at the bottom of the link page.:)

Awesome project! I myself am not yet sure how to use particles, (Not to self: Finish those workshops!) but they look great.

updated 4/6, The particle size slider is for fine tuning and I added a button "+ 1" that increments the size by 1 till it reaches 10 then gos back to 0.27. This is also good for bigger objects to get the effect you want. Also all the files for the project including sun burst are in the particleProjFiles.zip file, you can download here.

nice, but a no-t7 version would be nicer.

I put particle project in a no-t7 version for Quadraxas. The files are here under "Here's the files without t7 particleProjA7.zip"

I’ll look into some kind of timeline, I have some other ideas too. Ep3 is a great program, not sure if particle project will become everything ep3 is, but I’ll keep working on it when I can.
