And it would work despite shaders not working in Lite-C free?

Ok after moving to lite-c i had tried to get slin's water shader working in my project...so i went ahead and translated the code from c-script to lite-c.
All is working perfectly except the water will not move like in the c-script version. The water is reflecting though.

SED came up with no errors in any of the lite-c scripts. Does the FX file need to be translated also for it to work with lite-c?

Here is a lite-c version I built from Slin's test level...can anyone see why the water isn't working properly?

http://djbm.kawanda.net/slin_water_shader_litec.zip

Thanks, i'm not a master at lite-c and this is the first time i have converted a big code from c-script to lite-c.

hmm that's strange...what version are you using commerical/pro?

If the water wont reflect for you then i guess there is a problem loading up the rendertotexture.dll or calling parts of it. I have pro so even if the rendertotexture.dll does not work the version support render to texture.

I've got the newest beta...and the pro editon. So I think it's not about a missing function ;\)

For me it looks like there are just 4 pixels on the whole surface or so = really blurred, because if I move the colors change a bit (that are colors that could come from the reflection map)

Hmmm, ok...here are some screenshots of what it looks like for me...

C-Script Version>>>

Lite-C Version>>>

You can see that the lite-c version causes the water to become pixelated and it still doesn't seem to move. Is it something to do with the FX file?
