sorry for my stupidness but what do you mean about typecasting? I know that is where you make a variable a certain data type but what part of the shader/code will that affect.

The only type i can see is float? So everywhere in the c-script code where the float() function is used i have changed it to floatv() but still no success.

LOL, i have no idea why that has happened, it reflects fine on mine. I don't want to insult you by saying are you sure your graphic's card supports it. Does the c-script version work for you?

Has no-one been able to get this working in lite-c? I've tried converting it and i get some fuzzy water.

Can anyone convert it?
