there is the option of getting your parents to sign for you, of course the biggest issue is the fact that this is an international community, so even with contracts, its tough as hell to actually go after someone anyways.

Getting payed even I'm not 18 yet was never a problem for me. This dude seems to produce serious quality, just look at the sites in is signature (or are this finished themes?!).
