i really like the match versions

there is something simple yet powerful about a match being lit

it symbolises where the energy / life is at, the start of a great idea or something new (much like a lightbulb)
i think it goes well with a game company

maybe try a few different fonts? like danube for instance:



as for the shield i think the font could possibly change
and that there's too many lines to look at, i don't know where to look
if when you coloured it you faded the shield outlines or made them a different colour that could resolve it however
and it would look excellent 'rendered' realistically as a battered metal shield or something to that extent
