g'day! i'm getting new RAM. gonna replace my old RAM. i'm thinking about going up to 3GB (i remember reading somewhere the 4th GB isn't worth it; any thoughts on this? i'm on XP).

i basically want to know what's the best (fastest, anything else that's relevant) type of RAM to buy?

i don't know what you need to know about my system to make good suggestions, and i probably don't know where to find that info, so if you can tell/ask me that would be good too.
