I own this one.

Apparently my procedure for keeping previous copies around as I work with new beta versions is the source of the problem.

I uninstalled and cleared the resgistry of MED, WED and ScriptEd hives.

Then I installed 7.07, 7.10 and then Intense X.

Now the plug ins are working as expected.

Sorry for raising a false flag.
