MED bug with windows vista?

Hello, i instaleld the last trial version to test it and i always have a problem with MED. When i create a primitive (for example a cube) the screen turns white (the 3D screen where you add the primitives not the entire screen) and i have to minimize and maximize to get it right. I don't know if that is a problem of my graphic card but it happened only when i installed it in vista (32 and 64 bits), i use a NVidia GeForce 6500 (its not old because i bought it a year ago). Do you know about this? How can i fix that? Can it be driver problems? I updated them but its the same... Also when i select an object with the selection tool, the selection square is white. With WED i dont have same problems, only that when i select an object the selection square "repetas" (it doesnt fills in white colors but repeats like when you have a windows error that hanged up). Those are not potention problems but i can not work with them because i have to minimize and maximize to refresh the screen and see the changes! I really need a solution please.

I dont know. 1)Do you have the latest direct x installed? 2)Try File->Preferences->Video Out to change the directx .dll

I tried the same with my laptop (its 32bit vista) and it has a Nvidia Geforce 8400M and its the same.
TriNitroToluene, thanks, i tried that you said, file, preferences,video out, and if i select "directX base" it works! But why do i have to use that one? Isn't it compatible with DX9? I tried Dx8, Dx9 and DX9a and it is not working fine, only with the "base" one. Will it be slower if i use the base directX? Do you know why is this happening? Thanks.

i was having this issue too.
i found out that the aero causes this. Switch to vista basic theme and it gets fixed.

i guess it is not about med, because it works fine in xp and some other apps do the same thing in vista.

I have vista , and when i run the engine from WED the views freeze, and need to be rebuilt and then they loose the texture, so i need to relaod the level. Also in MED when i add a primitive , say a cube the top two displays go white, i think this engine is bugged in vista slightly.
